Tamakan Graduate Program:

Empowering Graduates Through Real-World Learning

The Tamakan Graduate Program, developed in partnership with the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), is designed to support fresh graduates as they step into the professional world. Launched in 2020, the program has since guided 170 graduates through an immersive, hands-on learning experience, addressing real-world business challenges and fostering critical skills.

As part of NBK's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, the program aligns with both Creative Confidence's mission and NBK’s commitment to creating a sustainable, socially responsible future. Tamakan not only builds individual capacity but also supports broader objectives of enhancing social impact and professional development in Kuwait.

In 2022, Tamakan’s meaningful contribution to social development was recognized with the “Social Work Pioneer Project Award” from the GCC Council of Ministers of Social Affairs and Labor.

Program Overview

At its core, the Tamakan Graduate Program is about equipping participants with the practical skills, mindset, and confidence to solve complex business challenges.

The 10 week full-time program revolves around tackling real business problems and shaping innovative business ideas, helping participants bridge the gap between learning and applying their knowledge.

Developing Skills for the Future

Throughout the program, graduates build essential skills, such as:

  • Creativity and innovation
  • Problem-solving and teamwork
  • Leadership and project management
  • Entrepreneurial thinking
  • Effective communication and adaptability

The program offers a structured approach to learning, where participants are guided through various stages of problem-solving, from understanding the challenge to testing and refining ideas, making them ready for practical implementation.

Learning Through Collaboration and Experimentation

Collaboration and hands-on experimentation form the foundation of the Tamakan experience. Graduates work closely in teams to explore real business challenges, experiment with solutions, and develop ideas that are not only innovative but also actionable. This collaborative environment encourages participants to step outside their comfort zones, fostering creativity and teamwork.

 Fostering Long-Term Impact

The Tamakan Graduate Program aims to create long-lasting impact, both for participants and the broader business community. By empowering graduates to tackle real-world challenges, the program not only prepares them for their careers but also enables them to make meaningful contributions to the organizations they join.

This initiative reflects Creative Confidence’s broader commitment to fostering sustainable change by equipping individuals with the tools they need to succeed and drive progress within their communities and workplaces.
